President Donald Trump said his historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "would not have happened" without Otto Warmbier, the American college student who mysteriously died after being sent home from a North Korean labor camp a year ago.
"China has not made any losses here", said Deng Yuwen, a political analyst based in Beijing.
By meeting with Kim in Singapore on Tuesday in front of thousands of journalists and photographers, Trump has already given the regime a carrot it long sought, and he threw in an additional concession by suspending US military exercises with South Korea.
"The U.N. Security Council resolutions that have been passed say that if North Korea respects and acts in accordance with the resolutions, then sanction measures can be adjusted, including to pause or remove the relevant sanctions", Geng told a daily news briefing.
"We don't know what happened to him to cause that brain damage", Sammarco has said.
The summit between the two leaders occurred on Monday evening U.S. time and Tuesday in Singapore, ending with Trump and Kim vowing to "denuke" North Korea. According to current reports, it ended amicably with the two shaking hands and smiling, though details of their plan still need to be hashed out.
"We appreciate President Trump's recent comments about our family", Fred and Cindy Warmbier said in a statement. Instead of months or years of low-level talks culminating in a landmark accord, Trump agreed to a face-to-face meeting with Kim at the outset, before either side had even agreed on a broad definition of denuclearization.

"Now [Trump] has criticised the exercises as provocative and given them up for ... nothing?"
But Trump suggested that China has already been relaxing trade controls.
Geng said Beijing would continue to fulfil its global obligations and play a constructive role on the Korean peninsula.
But Chung said that China would not be left out.
At the same time, he said complete denuclearization would take time.
Meanwhile, agreements are yet to be reached on the timeframe of North Korea's denuclearization and how this will be achieved in a way that is complete and verifiable.
In the domestic front, Trump is likely to tout his diplomatic engagement with North Korea as proof he is working to protect the United States as part of his "America First" agenda, although the summit did not appear to yield specific safeguards against Pyongyang's long-range nuclear missiles. One possible lesson is Vietnam, a former Communist ally that has become one of the strongest opponents of China's assertiveness in the South China Sea. "I think nobody can doubt the extremely unique and important role China has played".
