Players will help Kane handle England captaincy - Cahill

ENGLAND boss Gareth Southgate has confirmed Stoke City's Jack Butland will start the Three Lions' final World Cup warm-up game against Costa Rica tomorrow night ahead of Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

I am not going to sit here and make that an excuse for what happened in the Euros.

England scored both of their goals against Nigeria in a first half that featured some flowing attacking football in Southgate's fluid 3-5-2 system, and substitute Ruben Loftus-Cheek was pleased with what he saw. Obviously there is a long way to go, but yeah, we've just got to do what we done today.

"We've seen the success with the under 17s, the under 20s".

"It was good to get some minutes on the weekend and I'm fully refreshed".

Not a lot of people would have said they could have done that.

"We're all proud to be Town fans and be part of the match day experience and were proud to be given the opportunity to play for England too!" "It's really sad. Somehow Russia got the World Cup and we have to get on with it".

Amazon said Australian customers will still be able to buy products sold by Amazon US on the Amazon Global Store. Australian users weren't happy with their government's decision, and are calling the GST as the "Amazon tax".

There were fears that the 24-year-old striker would not be in peak condition for the 2018 Soccer World Cup after an ankle injury kept him out of action for three weeks in March.

Much has been made of the youthful squad who will represent the Three Lions in Russian Federation, which is the youngest England party to travel to a World Cup since Chile in 1962.

But the player says there is no guarantee that he will start.

"With the (England) teams I played in, the (Manchester) United group were exceptional, but outside of that it was only Tony Adams who started at Arsenal and was there all the way through".

"We've got to get used to playing at different venues", the onetime Middlesbrough manager added. "It was hard to take", he said at England's St George's Park training centre on Tuesday.

Rose made just 10 appearances in the Premier League last term, but still impressed Southgate enough to get his name in the final 23. "I'm fine with whatever may or may not happen, and I like to think I'll be able to deal with it in the right way".
