Police officer punches woman in New Jersey beach arrest video

Wildwood police said on its Facebook page that 20-year-old Emily Weinman of Philadelphia faces multiple charges, including assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest. He said he was appalled by the number of people who had posted that Weinman "got what she deserved". "You're about to get dropped", one of them tells Weinman; she appears to push one of the officers and then the video cuts to the officer beating Weinman.

The newly-released 9-minute clip begins with cops administering a breathalyzer to Weinman, which she appears to pass.

Weinman cries out and continues yelling and berating the officers as they walk her past a crowd of concerned beachgoers and put her in the back of a police vehicle.

Weinman was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Two of the officers involved have been reassigned to administrative duty pending the outcome of the investigation. "She passed a Breathalyzer, she wasn't drinking, and you know, they just wouldn't let it go". "Okay, that's it, I'm done with you", he soon informs Weinman, while requesting handcuffs from one of the other nearby cops. There would be no ticket that day, he decided, and shut the body camera off, the police would later say. I'd like to see that perspective to see if it was really her trying to shove the cop or her arms simply going up in a surprised defensive way and him running into those arms.

New body camera footage released Wednesday by the Wildwood Police Department shows what happened before Weinman's arrest. "I didn't do anything to get written up, did I?"

Wildwood police asked anyone who was present and has video of the altercation to come forward to help their internal affairs investigation, in which Cape May County officers will also be assisting.

This is where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will honeymoon
Amidst rumours, it's believed that Meghan and Harry are heading to Alberta, Canada's Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge . Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury, asked , "Harry, will you take Meghan to be your wife?"

"It wasn't just that this officer chose to beat her up", he said.

The officer asked Weinman for her name, which she refused to give, according to the post. "I didn't do anything wrong". She tells them the unopened alcohol belongs to her aunt, who is on her way to the beach.

"OK, you can see it, but we're not drinking it", Weinman says.

"I'm not choking", the officer says moments before punching her in front of a crowd of beachgoers. She started kicking at us so I slammed her on the ground.

"This young lady attacked our officer", Troiano said. The second time, Troiano said, the woman moved her head in a direction of the officer's hand.
