DICE partners with NVIDIA for Battlefield V, will feature NVIDIA-platform features

According to the press release, "Tides of War is DICE's new approach to live services, where players will set out on an epic journey with their Company in unexpected battles throughout World War 2".

Last week Call of Duty revealed the next game in that series, Black Ops 4, will feature a dedicated battle royale mode for the first time rather than a single player campaign.

"Our vision with Battlefield V is to let players explore new and untold sides of the conflict that shaped the modern world".

The highly anticipated video game, Battlefield V, has been announced and is planned for release on Microsoft's family of Xbox One consoles on October 19 this year. As reports suggested, it is indeed taking us back to World War II.

EA has confirmed some extra details about Battlefield V, including microtransactions and lootboxes, as well as more information about its reveal trailer. EA/Origin Access subscribers and those who pre-order the game will have access to the free trial from October 11.
