George Zimmerman Arrested For Aggravated Stalking, Referenced Trayvon Martin In His Threats


Warren is a private investigator who was hired by a production company that was working on a documentary about Martin's life, according to CNN affiliate WKMG.

While the documents don't quote Zimmerman as threatening to feed anyone from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office to alligators, as he's accused of doing with Warren, it does quote Zimmerman repeatedly addressing a female sergeant with vulgarities.

Warren had told police that he and producer Mike Gasparro had initially contacted Zimmerman on September 21 to ask if he was interested in participating in the documentary, which is titled Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.

The investigator subsequently received 55 phone calls, 67 text messages, 36 voicemails and 27 emails from Zimmerman in December, according to court records.

According to the Brevard and Seminole state attorney's offices, Zimmerman cyberstalked and harassed private investigator Dennis Warren in December 2017. He was a neighborhood watch captain in Sanford, Florida in February 2012 when he shot and killed Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old. Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder a year later.

Outside of the initial text and voicemail, the private investigator made no further attempts to speak or meet with Zimmerman, deputies wrote in a warrant request.

Zimmerman is charged with misdemeanor stalking, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

Zimmerman's stream of profanity continued to flow as Seiple told Zimmerman she was calling about Warren's report of unwanted communication.

Warren contacted authorities and followed the advice of the sheriff's office to send a single message asking Zimmerman to desist from any further communication.

"He's well on his way to the inside of a gator", Zimmerman allegedly texted Gasparro about Warren.

"Anybody who [expletive] together with my mother and father will likely be fed into an alligator", Zimmerman allegedly claimed. "You have been involved with me since that Martin kid!"
