First Look At Long-Awaited 5th Season Of 'Arrested Development'

The fourth season of Arrested Development was presented differently than the first three installments; each episode focused on one or two characters instead of the usual format of switching back and forth between the family members.

After five years of agonizing sleepless nights spent tossing and turning and wondering whether Netflix blue it with their Arrested Development season four revival, the show is set to return for season five on Netflix on May 29th. The Season 5 trailer showed him in a military uniform and blueing himself again, so chances are we will be seeing a lot of our favorite never-nude on May 29. He also revealed he had recut Season 4 and released it on Netflix. That means Jason Bateman, Jeffrey Tambor, Will Arnett, Alia Shawkat, Portia de Rossi, David Cross, Tony Hale, and Jessica Walter will all be in the same room together once more.

When Arrested Development EP Mitch Hurwitz announced that the show would be back with a new season "soon", we had a hunch that it might be before the end of May. This trailer features Lindsay Booth running for office, at least one character with a surprising new hairdo, and also (once again) a very unusual notion that Michael Bluth is somehow a hero to many of these people even though he often does have a tendency to screw a lot of things up. It also wasn't helped by the fact that creator Mitch Hurwitz chose to try out a Rashoman-style, overlapping time periods/perspectives structure that made the season hard to follow.

Yaya Toure: Will leave Manchester City
Newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City are celebrating their title win in Italy, Sky Italia understands. Argentina play their opening World Cup match against Iceland on June 16.

Said creator Mitchell Hurwitz about the renewal: "In talks with Netflix we all felt that that stories about a narcissistic, erratically behaving family in the building business - and their desperate abuses of power - are really underrepresented on TV these days".

Arrested Development has created some iconic gags revolving around its use of music. But whatever happens, Michael will always come back to save the family. George Michael (Cera) questions if they will still get the votes needed. Meanwhile, the Bluths are giving themselves a Family of the Year award, because of course they are. Beyond the Season Four Remix and upcoming fifth season, all four previous seasons of the show are now available to stream through Netflix as well.

There may be some controversy with the fifth season of Arrested Development.
