Sergio Aguero to miss Manchester City's trip to Tottenham Hotspur

Manchester City could still lose the Premier League title although the outcome of the season remains firmly in their hands, manager Pep Guardiola has said ahead of Saturday's trip to Tottenham Hotspur.

A win for City would mean Manchester United need to beat West Brom on Sunday to stop their rivals being crowned champions this week.

"For Swansea [City, after Tottenham], I do not know if he will be ready".

- Cesar Azpilicueta and Alvaro Morata have now combined for seven Premier League goals this season - in only one previous season have two Chelsea players combined for more (Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba in 2005-06, 8).

"He made a huge effort because after the action from Ashley Young against United, his problems in the knee, he could not train", Guardiola said.

There have been suggestions that City's run of losses could be down to Guardiola's demanding style of play, but he rejected those claims saying the issues with his side are mental rather than physical. But Champions League exit at the hands of Liverpool means the Abu Dhabi United Group have still yet to secure European football's top prize 10 years into their reign. Guardiola also noted that John Stones is still recovering from a thigh issue, Benjamin Mendy is out with an ACL injury, and midfielder Fernandinho is suspended for yellow card accumulation.

Seeing Paul Pogba get forward into the box to score two goals must have been pleasing, while new signing Alexis Sanchez is starting to show what he can do with one goal and three assists in his last two games for the club.

The group started by encouraging teachers to wear red to school on Wednesdays, using the hashtag #RedforED in social media posts. Matt Bevin offered sharp criticism of the tax law, saying it was a "sloppy, non-transparent bill" before its passage.

A rocky week of football has left Premier League's champion-elect Manchester City in a lurch.

"Tottenham are a fantastic team".

"My feeling is now that United will win a lot of points because they are in a good shape and have top players".

"All the other contenders, after losing a game, have maybe lost another one - and we didn't do that. It is going to be a hard game for us". We need five points from six games and our first chance is [Saturday] in one of the toughest games. We have to do it from tomorrow.

"So, we have to do it, like we have all season".

"This week is the first time and it was in different competitions".
