Dark Souls Remastered will feature an amiibo in its Nintendo Switch version.

When the Wii U first released, a number of the system's initial third party offerings were ports of older games that debuted on Xbox 360 and PS3.

Also revealed today in the latest Nintendo direct, there will be a new Dark Souls-inspired amiibo. Using it will allow you to perform the iconic "Praise The Sun" gesture to your heart's content.

Marvel Studios Head Reveals Black Panther Sequel's Fate (Spoiler: It's "Absolutely" Happening)
Kevin Feige didn't have any thing to say about the sequel as of yet, but did mention they have discussed a Black Panther 2 . I think we're seeing it shift from a very purposeful initiative to just a fact of life, to just a way of doing business.

Players who are eager to get their hands on the action game early will have a chance during the free network test across consoles.

We'll let you know more details on the free network test as soon as they become available - but early May is looking like a proper time period to kick it off. Will you fearless Dark Souls' dark, decrepit world alone or carry the light of Astora wherever you go?

Nintendo is definitely keeping their Amiibo line relevant with the announcement that Solaire of Astora (from Dark Souls) will receive his own figure on May 25. By tapping this amiibo on the Joy-Con or Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, the popular "Praise the Sun" gesture can be used (gesture can also be obtained through regular game play).
