Justin Timberlake Surprises 'Selfie Kid' Ryan McKenna on 'Ellen'

"There's someone on the phone who wants to say hi to you right now", she said. The moment he struggled with his phone to snap the photo is what really took the internet by storm and McKenna was quick to defend himself and explain what was really going on.

McKenna is now slated to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in an episode that will air early Friday evening.

While his halftime show turned out to be light on surprises, many had been speculating for weeks if *NSYNC or Janet Jackson would show up to perform with him. "I've seen those", Ryan said.

"Ryan?" Timberlake, 37, said on the phone.

Tracks like "Can't Stop the Feeling!" and "Filthy", which is the first single off of his new album Man of the Woods, saw huge leaps in download numbers, with the latter selling an estimated 6,000 downloads on February 4. I was elbowing people but I got there.

The Syrian American Medical Society said its hospitals in Idlib treated 11 patients for suspected chlorine gas poisoning. At least eight residents remained missing when the search was suspended at nightfall, one rescuer said.

DeGeneres continued, "Everybody loves Justin".

Meme forever: And when Justin asked how Ryan was doing after the hilarious interaction went viral, the 13-year-old responded: 'I'm awesome, how are you, man?' "So I'm going to be coming to TD Garden on tour to play in Boston so I'd like to invite you and your family to come", Justin said. McKenna couldn't contain his excitement when DeGeneres handed him the tickets.

Their first encounter was during Sunday's halftime show when Timberlake ended his performance dancing through the stands.

She then revealed that the National Football League had also provided a gift basket for the family, which included clothing apparel and tickets to multiple New England Patriots games and passes to go on the field.

"It's nice to finally meet you", the pop star said over a speakerphone as the audience cheered and McKenna gasped. As Ellen thanked Justin for being on the phone, he bid farewell to a still teary Ryan as he laughed: "I look forward to meeting you and our second selfie together".
