Can we say we won't give taxes collected here to them? That is why I call it top priority - the T of tomato, the O of Onion and the P of potato - TOP priority. We have launched "Operation Green" in the interest of these farmers. Siddaramaiah once again hit back at him in another tweet.

Flanked by key ministers of his Cabinet at the press conference, Siddaramaiah charged that Modi was "supporting and facilitating corruption" while saying that the Centre was yet to appoint a Lokpal.

Backing his government, Siddaramaiah said, "Our state is still no. 1 in IT/BT".

"He (prime minister) will not benefit from this". Modi also added that the government has not even found the killers of noted personalities that were murdered in the past few years. The students sold Modi Pakoras, Amit Shah Pakoras and Dr Yeddy Pakoras, a reference to Karnataka BJP chief Yeddyurappa, to those passing by including the BJP workers and visitors on their way to the rally.

The students were later detained by the police. "#KarnatakaTrustsModi", B.S.Yeddyurappa said while responding to a tweet by Siddaramaiah welcoming Modi, earlier in the day.

The BJP has set a target to win 150-plus seats for the coming polls.

Never in the recent history of Karnataka, has the Congress depended so much on its CM to retain power at any cost.

Addressing a massive rally at the Palace grounds in Bengaluru to mark the end of Nava Nirmana Parivarthana rally taken out by BJP strongman Yeddyurappa, Modi said, "Looking at your enthusiasm, countdown has begun for the Congress Government here".

YouTube's Cord-Cutting TV Service Lands on Roku Devices
Google-owned video streaming site YouTube announced that its streaming live TV service is now available on Apple TV devices. Unlike traditional YouTube channels, which serve up pre-recorded content, YouTube TV streams live TV to compatible devices.

Sounding the poll bugle for the upcoming Karnataka polls, Modi had accused the Siddaramaiah government of creating new records in corruption and dubbed it a "10 per cent commission government". It is one of the states where the Congress is ruling under the chief ministership of Siddaramariah.

"Some people hatched a conspiracy to pocket crores of rupees in the name of building a steel bridge. He teaches us to work honestly and live for others", he said referring to the fact that Dravid, who hails from Bengaluru, was instrumental in the victory.

"BJP president was involved in murder case, he only speaks lies".

"It is an assault on the social fabric". He said, "I don't support people who indulge in personal attacks".

"India does not need Congress culture anymore as it has ruined the nation".

Speaking in the State Assembly, Siddaramaiah lambasted Modi as he countered allegations of corruption levelled against his government by the PM. "You might have felt this", he said. "Our right", the Chief Minister said. Modi said that the discussion about "ease of doing business" was the talk across the world. "I am not saying this, the central government itself has said this".

Though PM Modi was scheduled to address the rally on January 28, on the conclusion of the three-month yatra that began here on November 1, it was put off to February 4, owing to his pre-occupation with other engagements.
