The night opens with the Taco Bell Skills Challenge featuring two teams: bigs and smalls.

Pacers guard Victor Oladipo will compete in the 2018 Verizon Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, the National Basketball Association announced Thursday. He was the 2015 runner-up to Zach LaVine.

Pacers forward Glenn Robinson III won the Slam Dunk Contest last season in New Orleans, but was unable to defend his title this season as he recovers from left ankle surgery after breaking a bone in the preseason. He was runner-up to LaVine in 2016 and put on a show, garnering three flawless scores during the competition.

The high-flying act of Victor Oladipo will be a busy man during All-Star weekend later this month.

Oladipo previously competed in the 2015 Slam Dunk Contest in NY as a member of the Orlando Magic, where he was runner-up to Minnesota's Zach LaVine.

Spice Girls spark revival speculation with reunion photo
The "girl power" idols are the best-selling female group of all time, with 85 million records sold worldwide. The Spice Girls are up to something! "I got the last laugh - and now my mic is well and truly on, finally".

As a rookie and a point guard, is a very interesting, but very worthy participant in this year's field.

You'll hear about this a lot in the coming weeks, but the senior Nance won the 1984 dunk contest, beating out the luminaries like Julius Erving and Dominique Wilkins in the process, so expect to see some sort of tribute to pops from Nance Jr. during all-star weekend. Even his missed dunks are spectacular.

The 2016 dunk contest in Toronto a year earlier, for example, was, excuse my language, !*$@!@* incredible. Hopefully these guys won't even need props or assistance to throw down their jams (though we certainly wouldn't complain about more insane dunks over mascots like Aaron Gordon's).

The Verizon Slam Dunk will be the third and final event held on State Farm® All-Star Saturday Night.
