Announced at BlizzCon previous year, Blizzard did not mention when their new World of Warcraft expansion "Battle for Azeroth" would be released. You will discover the kingdom of Kul Tiras and the lands of the ancient empire of Zandalar, plunder uncharted islands, and be able to unlock six new race variants, including the Nightborne Elves, Highmountain Tauren, and Zandalari Trolls as part of the Horde, and the Void Elves, Lightforged Draenei and Dark Iron Dwarves if you join the Alliance. As a new age of warfare begins, Azeroth's heroes must set out on a journey to recruit new allies, race to claim the world's mightiest resources, and fight on several fronts to determine whether the Horde or Alliance will lead Azeroth into its uncertain future. It's not clear how much of the quests you can complete. The pre-purchase page also gives us a hint as to when Battle for Azeroth will be launching: a Summer 2018 release window with an "on or before September 21, 2018" stipulation. You can be Exalted with the Highmountain Tauren as a member of the Alliance for example, but you can't start the recruitment quest.
As of now, players can pre-purchase the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Standard Edition or the Digital Deluxe Edition. Once unlocked, the Allied Races will be available account-wide, but they have to be rolled on a server with an existing Level 110 character.
World of Warcraft: Charge into battle astride the Seabraid Stallion (Alliance) and Gilded Ravasaur (Horde) mounts, and explore new frontiers with Tottle, the baby Tortollan pet, at your side.
Everyone who pre-buys Battle for Azeroth will also receive in-game items for WoW and other Blizzard games.

The announcements are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. today inside Diamond Head, home to the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency. Governor Ige said he took so long to respond to the alert on Twitter because he didn't know the password to his account.
With this expansion also comes the usual addition of content, such as the level cap being raised, new dungeons and raids being added, new continents, and new mechanics.
