Rams' 4 biggest causes for concern against the Falcons on Saturday

Clinging to a six-point lead midway through the fourth quarter, Matt Ryan connected with Julio Jones for an 8-yard touchdown to put the Falcons up 26-13, sealing the win with 5:43 remaining.

This good news for the Falcons is that while the NFC playoff field is solid, there are no dominant teams. Atlanta has taken a bit of a hit this season after Kyle Shanahan bolted for San Francisco and as such the Falcons offense has looked pedestrian compared to the group that led to Matt Ryan winning the MVP award last season, and unless they can get a breakout effort from their pivot this could be a tough outing for them and a short lived NFC title defense.

"If we do that, and we're locked in for practice and walkthroughs, that's going to give us the best chance to be successful".

Linebacker Mark Barron and kick returner Pharoh Cooper are active for the Los Angeles Rams' wild-card playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons. He also posted a new personal best in yards per catch (13.9).

Atlanta scored the first points of the night on a Rams blunder on special teams. Jones caught 88 passes during the regular season, but only three resulted in touchdowns.

Man Utd leave it late to beat Derby
Manchester United had the first attempt on goal through captain Pogba firing a straight shot at Carson in the second minute. There would also be no shock if that turns out to be Mkhitaryan's final stand, another lacklustre showing.

Nicknamed "Boom and Zoom", the Saints pair has been a deadly 1-2 punch since Adrian Peterson was shipped out of town in an early-October trade and the two combined for 376 total yards and four TDs in a pair of games against the Panthers. Ryan passed for 218 yards as the Falcons never trailed in the game.

The wild-card game against the Los Angeles Rams at the Coliseum on Saturday night will provide answers about the offense and the defense.

Even though the Falcons represented the NFC in the Super Bowl past year, and were considered one of the early favorites to earn a trip to Minnesota this season, it was clear the offense wasn't almost the same from their epic run from a season ago. Jared Goff had a nice 25-yard pass to Robert Woods but the Rams' drive fizzled on an incompletion by Goff and a drop by Todd Gurley.

Atlanta's biggest concern was starting running back Devonta Freeman, who has a knee injury that made some question whether he'd be able to play against the Rams. The Falcons have been up and down this season, but they advanced to the next round, where they'll get a crack at the Eagles, who are playing with backup quarterback Nick Foles.
