Four CRPF troopers, two militants killed in Kashmir

Earlier it was reported that three terrorists have been killed. Two heavily armed JeM terrorists attacked the camp at about 2 am, said Inspector General of CRPF Ravideep Sahi.

Meanwhile, the internet services have been slowed down.

Jammu DGP SP Vaidya said that the condition of the two CRPF soldiers remained steady.

According to emerging reports, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Hizbul Mujahideen hand suspected behind the attack. And all the injured were evacuated to Army's 92 base hospital in Badamibagh, Srinagar for treatment. "We believe another terrorist has also been killed", Yadav told PTI. CRPF Public Relations Officer, Bhavesh Kumar said that the three jawans were martyred due to firing and one of the jawans died due to the heart attack. The bodies of two terrorists have also been recovered.

They said Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police, 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and CRPF personnel later joined the operation against the militants, who have entered a building.

"Security forces including Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and state police jointly carried out an operation to flush out the militants", the official said.

"Four CRPF jawans were martyred in the operation that lasted for almost 12 hours", a police officer said.
