Suspects arrested in Troy Quadruple homicide plead not guilty to murder charges

Police announced two persons were being questioned late Friday and just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday announced two arrests.

Mann (pictured, left) and James W. White (right) are facing murder charges after they were arrested for the killings of a female couple and one of the women's two children.

Both Mann and White are from nearby Schenectady, which is where they were arrested.

The victims were identified as Brandi Mells, 22, Shanta Myers, 36, and Myers' children Shanise, 5, and Jeremiah, 11.

Both White and Mann are remanded to appear next in court, on Thursday, Jan. 4.

Cops say the quadruple murder in Troy, NY of Shanta Myers, bottom left; her children, Shanise, top left, and Jeremiah, and her lover, Brandi Mells, was targeted.

Police have not yet released details in the quadruple homicide, but Troy Police Chief John Tedesco earlier this week said the scene was "horrific".
