Prince Harry and his glamorous fiancee Meghan Markle stepped out with the rest of the royal family for their traditional Christmas morning church service, before spending the rest of the day with the Queen and the family for lunch.
"The first person in Markle's family to speak out about the Prince's comments was the future princess" paternal half-sister, Samantha Grant.
She also tweeted: "Meg's family (our family) is complete with sister, brother, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the glue of our family, our fantastic completely self-sacrificing father".
Personally, I think it's probably hard enough for Markle having to sacrifice her acting career, one where she could have been the next Hollywood It girl, for the sake of her husband.
Meghan Markle has moved on to bigger and better things...
"He dedicated the majority of all his time and everything to her", Meghan's brother said about her father.
Thomas also echoed his sister's remarks that their family is "extremely close" and get together on holidays.
"Obviously, she had a family".
Arsenal mark Wenger milestone with Palace victory
In the same fixture last season, Palace defeated Arsenal 3-0 ultimately ending the Gunners faint title ambitions at the time. Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi jumps for joy after scoring his side's opening goal from close-range.
"Our household was very normal and when dad and Doria divorced, we all made it so it was like she had two houses", she wrote.
"The role more recently has gone to actresses deemed to be rising stars, and Meghan certainly was seen as that before her relationship with Harry became public".
The couple became engaged after dating for over a year on November 29th, 2017.
With Kate expecting her third child in April and the couple's children George, four, and Charlotte, two, ruling the roost, the duke and duchess may be in for a more relaxed NYE this year.
Grant reacted angrily to Prince's comments and said her loved ones "always" supported her growing up but she was "too busy" for them.
