Tennessee fired Butch Jones on November 12 after they dropped to 0-6 in SEC play.

Tennessee is set to hire a former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach, just not the one many Volunteers fans had hoped they would. Tennessee lost seven of its final eight games to finish last in the SEC East.

So what's the reaction from the Volunteers fan base in hearing about their new head coach?

Former Paralympian Oscar Pistorius Has Jail Sentence Doubled
Oscar Pistorius' prison sentence has been increased to 13 years and five months by South Africa's Supreme Court of Appeal. Pistorius explained that he had not fired a warning shot as he thought he might be harmed if the bullet ricocheted.

Schiano was a graduate assistant at Penn State in 1990 and defensive backs coach from 1991-95, during which he allegedly knew of Sandusky's actions, per a testimony from former Nittany Lions' assistant coach Mike McQueary that was made public in 2016. The Bucs fired him after he went 11-21 in two years. However, Mullen has been reported to be the top target of Florida. He had a run of success at Rutgers, posting a 68-67 record as the Scarlet Knights' head coach from 2001-2011.

Schiano led Rutgers to a No. 7 ranking a decade ago before a disappointing stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That's after a report Tennessee may be finalizing a deal with with the Ohio State University defensive coordinator.

Schiano later told ESPN, "I never saw any abuse nor had reason to suspect any abuse during my time at Penn State".
