While Florida is a great job, it just didn't seem to fit with Kelly who coached in the Pac-12 during his time as the offensive coordinator and later as the head coach of the Oregon Ducks.

Kelly thrived in four seasons at OR between 2009 and 2012, leading the Ducks to to four Pac-10/12 titles, a BCS National Championship Game appearance, a Rose Bowl championship and a Fiesta Bowl Championship.
