The shooter reportedly wounded kids at the school.

Authorities in California say three people have been killed and multiple children have been injured in a number of shootings in California.

About 100 law enforcement personnel are now working at least seven crime scenes in the area, he said.

An employee with the Corning Unified School District told KCRA there were reports of an active shooter at the school, and there were confirmed injuries. Law enforcement officers killed the shooter after responding to a domestic violence incident involving the shooter. "That evolved into multiple victims and multiple shots at the school", the deputy said.

"He's dead. He didn't make it", the witness said.

One student at the elementary school was hit by gunfire and transported to the local hospital for treatment, Johnston said. Flint says he had been shooting "hundreds of rounds" from large magazines.

Johnston, of the Tehama County Sheriff's Office, told reporters that three weapons - a semi-automatic rifle and 2 handguns - had been recovered from the scene.

Carrie Underwood Suffers Bad Fall At Nashville Home
Her husband Mike Fisher wasn't home when she fell but was able to get back to Nashville to be with Underwood at the hospital. In addition to the broken wrist, Underwood suffered some minor cuts and abrasions.

A number of students are reported to have been hurt at a primary school in Rancho Tehama Reserve, about 130 miles north of Sacramento.

Living near the gunman was "hell", Flint said, and the man was a known felon who often harassed him and his neighbors.

"We made it aware that this guy is insane and he's been threatening us".

"We offer our condolences to the families who lost loved ones and unite with all Californians in grief", the statement reads.

The shooting began at a home near the elementary school. The California Highway Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation also were assisting.

Officers were sent to multiple scenes in the area.
