The West Indies was due to visit Pakistan this month, but Sethi said heavy smog in Lahore made organization hard.
The news will be a big boost to the return of global cricket in Pakistan on a consistent basis after successfully hosted World XI in a three match series and Sri Lanka in a solitary T20I game earlier.
The tour was slated to take place in November this year, but it had to be rescheduled for next year.
Sethi said the PCB and Cricket West Indies have agreed to play Twenty20 series for five years.
Pakistan will host West Indies for three T20s.
"There were talks to play the series in November, but due to unforeseen weather, we didn't take a risk so we will start our first series from March next year followed by the one in the U.S.", said Sethi.
Macron Says France Disagrees with Saudi Arabia on Iran
President Donald Trump decertified the agreement and imposed sanctions on the Iranian Revolutionary Guards. Iran has rejected a call by French President Emmanuel Macron for talks on Tehran's ballistic missiles.
PCB chairman Najam Sethi on Saturday announced that the West Indies cricket team would visit Pakistan for a three-match T20 series every year for the next five years. This is not a one-off series, we have tied up with the Windies for a period of five years.
The two teams will then go to America for a trilateral affair which will include, Pakistan, West Indies and a third country, which has not been named yet.
Pakistan had largely been shunned by global teams for the past eight years due to security concerns following an attack by gunmen on the bus carrying the Sri Lankan team in 2009.
As per the agreement, the first series is to be held in Pakistan by the end of March 2018. Zimbabwe ended that in 2013 but most recently a number of high profile players toured the region for World XI against Pakistan.
The three games are slotted for March 29, 31 and 1st April.
