Conor McGregor ejected for fighting with ref at Bellator 187

The UFC star was involved in a insane altercation in the cage with referee Marc Goddard at the event in the 3Arena. Even more, he brought attention to Bellator MMA, UFC's chief rival.

It is not immediately known what disciplinary action, if any, will come from this considering that McGregor wasn't a licensed cornerman and put his hands on a referee.

"We're are aware of the in-cage altercation involving Conor McGregor and a Bellator staff member", the statement read.

After teammate and good friend Charlie Ward scored a late-second stoppage in the first round over John Redmond, Conor McGregor jumped the cage to celebrate an impressive victory.

McGregor was PISSED - pushing Goddard from behind and getting in his face. before security and BFF Artem Lobov escorted him from the cage.

Russians Offered to Send Women to Trump's Moscow Hotel Room, Bodyguard Testifies
Schiller's lawyer denied leaked accounts of his client's testimony, calling them "blatantly false and misleading". Schiller testified that he stood outside of Trump's bedroom for a while before going to bed himself.

McGregor and Goddard have history, with the official telling the Irishman to leave the area when he was cheering and giving instructions to a team-mate at a UFC event in Gdansk earlier in the year.

"What's got into you mate?"

McGregor then followed Goddard across the cage before giving him a slight shove him in the back, just before officials intervened. It will be interesting to see what, if anything, the UFC does to punish McGregor.

Given that McGregor has acted dramatically out of turn and given massive publicity to a competitor, UFC president Dana White's response is well worth looking out for.
