Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC Will Last a Full Year

Now, Nintendo has announced the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 season pass, which will help you to be able to more easily obtain all of the game's DLC. Nintendo have confirmed that there will be a season pass releasing alongside the game's release.

As a major surprise for both Xenoblade and The Legend of Zelda fans, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be getting a brief cameo in the excellent The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launches December 1.

As the lineup shows, the first piece of content will be Support items for the game. "Details about individual elements of the Expansion Pass will be released in the future", Nintendo wrote in a recent press release.

Blades are described as having a vast array of support abilities, some which can increase the number of items that the player can collect or open new paths to travel through, amongst other abilities. Content also includes an additional adventure with a new side story. Abilities differ from Blade to Blade, so selecting different Blades adds to the strategy of battle. What exactly this new adventure will be remains a mystery along with the rest of the DLC coming to the game, but hopefully it will still be good. The main takeaway is that Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be a great big game, stuffed full of things to do. If you pre-purchase the title on the eShop, it will download most of the necessary data now so you're ready to play the minute the game releases on December 1st.
