WWE Star Emma was released Sunday.

Shortly after announcing Emma's release, the WWE sent out a second press release on Sunday afternoon disclosing the releases of Young and Summer Rae. She had a successful tenure in NXT before being promoted to the main roster where she teamed with Santino Marella.

In an announcement today the WWE revealed that Emma, Darren Young and Summer Rae are no longer with the company. She influenced her principle list to make a big appearance on the April 22, 2013 scene of Monday Night Raw as the move accomplice for Fandango.

Emma has yet to address her release on social media.

That unit had another solid outing against the Chargers , save for Melvin Gordon's 87-yard touchdown run in the first half. New England stalled out on its next drive, partially due to Joey Bosa's 9-yard sack of Brady to set up a third-and-long.

Emma has been in the professional wrestling industry since when she began training back in 2003. WWE released Dashwood on July 2, 2014, but reversed their decision hours later.

Young made his WWE debut in 2010 on NXT and had former WWE superstar CM Punk as his "mentor".

Some other wrestlers who have taken Lio Rush to task include former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman (aka X-Pac) and former Mae Young Classic Competitor Tessa Blanchard. She was also used in a storyline involving Rusev and Lana, but plans were scrapped when the couple's real-life engagement was reported. Young suffered an injury earlier this year and plans for whatever creative push he would have were halted. He had a good run with Titus O'Neil as part of the Prime Time Players, but their split left him without a prominent role.

With Young has been off television for months, even after being cleared to return from injury, while Rae hasn't appeared on Raw programming ever since the 2016 brand split, this new update shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
