Collin McHugh on Astros' ALCS roster

Right-hander Collin McHugh has been added to the Houston Astros roster for the AL Championship Series against the New York Yankees. But he was quick to point out that Keuchel's success certainly hasn't been limited to games against NY.

With an ability to tame left-handed hitters (his.111 average against was second-lowest in Major League history) and a change-up that generated the fourth-highest whiff rate during the regular season, Devenski figures to be a key mid-game weapon for the Astros even if manager A.J. Hinch makes aggressive use of Justin Verlander in one of his non-starts. "I don't really care who we're facing, it's going to be that order".

2017 regular-season stats:.264 average, 594 AB, 96 runs, 157 hits, 26 doubles, 4 triples, 21 HR, 63 RBIs, 72 BB, 122 K, 23 SB, 5 CS, 151 games.

The ALCS is going to be close, but if the Astros can start strong behind Keuchel and Verlander, they could be able to take one game from Yankee Stadium and come home with a chance to clinch a World Series berth in Game 6. "I mean, especially now seeing me and Bregman having so much success they are going to be more blocks of scouts going down there to find some talent", said Giles.

In 341 regular-season at-bats that ended before the pitcher got to two strikes against him, Altuve batted.446 with a.739 slugging percentage. "And just because it's the Yankees, you get a little bit more amped and jittery".

"It is a little insane", said McCann, the 33-year-old catcher who was traded by the Yankees to Houston last winter.

"Oh, he's a great player, and he's been for a number of years here", Girardi said. He's 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA in the postseason.

Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel expressed concern while talking to reporters in Berlin on Monday. She has said she believes Iran has continued to secretly move ahead with efforts to develop nuclear capability.

"I remember I was at home that day and my brother told me, "Hey, we got him", and I was like, "No, we didn't". He allowed just three hits in seven scoreless innings in his second career postseason game.

"I don't think anyone who goes through a season has a flawless season", Judge said.

The 25-year-old Judge isn't daunted by his hard postseason.

Chatter about Girardi's future in the Bronx has been muffled since the Yankees became only the 10th team to win a best-of-five series after dropping the first two games.

In that series, Tanaka pitched for NY in Game 3 allowing 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 1 in New York's 1-0 win.

The Yankees have already lined up their starters through Game 4, with Luis Severino, CC Sabathia and Sonny Gray following Tanaka, per Bryan Hoch of Houston's hasn't announced its rotation past Saturday.
