Five persons, including four women of a family, were found stabbed to death at their home in east Delhi's Mansarovar Park on Saturday morning, police said.
Commenting on the multiple killings that took place inside a house at Mansarovar Park of Shahdara district, the investigating police official said that during the primary investigation of the house, the police have recovered a sharp weapon.
Police said that a cupboard kept in the room where the women were found murdered, was ransacked, but nothing was found missing. The five were found dead at the house 1/561 on GT road and the DCP said it seemed the assailant had made a friendly entry into the house.
The deceased have been identified as Urmila Jindal, and her daughters Sangeeta, 56, Nupur, 48, and Anjali, 38. The guard has been identified as Rakesh, 42, IANS reported. Police sources said that property angle is being probed among other motives behind the murder. Prasad further said the police were looking at a family property dispute, which might have led to the murders.

Relatives said no one heard any sound. "I got a call that from a friend and got to know about the incident".
