Las Vegas shooting: What do we know about Marilou Danley?

Marilou Danley, a woman who was wired $100,000 by Stephen Paddock before he fired on a country music concert in Las Vegas, remains a person of interest in the investigation into the shooting, the Las Vegas Police Department said Tuesday. "She was sent away [sic]", one of her sisters said. "She was [sent] away so that she will not be there to interfere with what he's that he can plan what he is planning without interruptions", the report quoted the unnamed sister as saying.

"In that sense, I thank him for sparing my sister's life", she said, adding her sister was "really in love with Steve".

The Las Vegas gunman's girlfriend, back in the United States after a weekslong trip overseas, will be at the center of the investigation into the shooting deaths of 59 people as authorities try to determine why a man with no known record of violence or crime would open fire on a concert crowd from a high-rise hotel.

The girlfriend of Stephen Paddock, the man who massacred almost 60 people attending a music festival in Las Vegas, has returned to the United States from the Philippines, according to media reports.

No one, except Marilou, because Steve is not here to talk anymore.

Baristas told the paper they would wince when Paddock came in with Marilou Danley, because he regularly belittled and berated her in front of customers and staff.

Danley landed at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday evening, a law enforcement source told CNN.

Paddock was apparently known for acting like an asshole to his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, while they waited in line for their drinks.

On Monday, Tesla also mentioned that quite a few systems in its vehicle plants took longer to activate than it was expected. The remaining 220 were Tesla's recently launched Model 3 . "We expect Model 3 to have a breakout year in 2019".

Twenty-three guns were found in Paddock's suite and a search of a Mesquite, Nevada, home the couple lived in found 19 firearms, explosives and thousands of rounds of ammunition.

In the Seven News interview, one sister said Danley was working with authorities and would willingly answer their questions upon landing in the United States. A person listed as the witness to Danley's divorce insisted to the Reno Gazette-Journal that she is not connected with Paddock's behavior.

Authorities in the Philippines had communicated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Department of Homeland Security regarding her travel, the spokeswoman said.

United States police say Paddock, who fired at a country music festival crowd from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort, "extensively" planned the massacre. "Then she would softly say, 'OK" and step back behind him.

Stephen Paddock, a reputed heavy gambler, allegedly wired almost $100,000 to the Philippines prior to the shooting in which he took his own life.

Other reports have said she left the country on Sept 25.

A nephew of Stephen Paddock's girlfriend says he's stunned by the actions of the Las Vegas gunman and didn't even know that Paddock was interested in guns. Another friend of the man said that man had been in contact with Marilou Danley in recent days. The attack killed 59 people and wounded more than 500.
