Debra Messing Mad At Megyn Kelly For 'Gay Thing' Comment

It's day three of Megyn Kelly's daytime talk show, Megyn Today and the former Fox News commentator has already hit a few bumps in the road.

The actress appeared on the first-ever episode of Megyn Kelly's Today, the presenter's new hour-long segment of the Today show, for an interview with her Will & Grace co-stars Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally. "But let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, "Our Souls at Night", rather than plastic surgery".

"We really want to talk about that now?"

On Monday she made some ill advised gay jokes, and on Wednesday she asked guest Jane Fonda basically the one question she didn't want to answer.

"Well, one of the things people think about when they look at you is how awesome you look", Kelly said. Good attitude. Good posture.

Kelly, who moved to NBC from Fox News earlier this year, received criticism for the interview, during which she brought out Will & Grace fan Russell Turner to meet the cast of the show.

Kelly laughed it off and responded, "Well, one of the things people think about you when they look at you is how incredible you look". "If you could go back to any age in your life, what would it be", Kelly asked both actors. "Take care of myself", Fonda said impatiently.

Redford replied that he'd like to return to the years just before he became a teenager because, "there was a little space where you could mess around and not get punished for it".

In response, Debra Messing tweeted: "Honestly I didn't know it was MK until that morning".

Megyn sat down with Fonda on Wednesday, and in an ill-advised and poorly conceived move, chose to ask the 79-year-old actress to detail the plastic surgery she has had done over the years. "Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments", she wrote.
