Apple TV 4K Finally Catches Up to Its Competitors

Your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV automatically play the best quality of video available for the device and your Internet connection.

The Apple document explains that "you can download a local copy of an HD movie, and you might be able to download HDR and Dolby Vision versions", but if you want to enjoy 4K offline, you're out of luck. Still, it's a free upgrade, so it's hard to complain too much.

"Yes, the $179 Apple TV 4K finally delivers gorgeous high fidelity video, but as usual, you're paying a premium for convenience and ease-of-use", Eadicicco wrote for TIME, Fortune's sister publication.
