HTC's involvement is unsurprising, especially as the recent FCC filing confirms that the Pixel 2 will boast HTC U11-a-like squeeze functionality through its "Active Edge" feature. In another screenshot showing the device's status menu, the storage section confirms that 50.66GB remains free after filling 21% of the phone's internal memory - a reading that lends credence to reports that the Pixel 2 will include 64GB storage as standard.

More hints and clues about the upcoming Google Pixel smartphones have made their way on to the web. Given the premium nature of the Pixel line and the fact that the "Baseband version" features the 8998 codename, the latter chip is very likely. The "G" in the number lets us know that this is indeed a Google device.

Similar to past year, the upcoming Google Pixel 2 will come with a slightly upgraded version of Android.

One of the features that HTC has introduced the smartphone world to is the squeezable frames.

He said he thinks removing the statue amounts to erasing history and said the "counter-protesters are crazier than the alt-right". A 32-year-old woman was killed as she was crossing the street and a vehicle was driven into a crowd of counter-demonstrators.

Previous reports had suggested that the squeezable edges will only be present on the bigger Pixel 2 XL, but it appears that the smaller model will also get this feature. The phone was previously reported to be the first device to run on the Snapdragon 836 SoC which is likely to be announced in the weeks to follow, possibly at the IFA 2017 in Berlin, Germany.

The listing on FCC also mentions the processor to expect under the hood of the Google Pixel 2.

Leaked photos of the handsets have pointed to the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack and an overall design similar to the first-generation Pixel. From this end, turning to a universal USB-C port is the future. The device's thick bottom bezel will be home to a dual front-facing speaker for richer audio playback.

There's also word that the phone could be dust and waterproof thanks to an IP68-certified body, but this is still a rumor. While there is no confirmation on the launch dates of the Pixel 2 smartphone (s), it won't be hard to assume that they could see the light of the day in or around October.
