Cleveland boy, 4, shot in the head during road rage incident


Police say the boy's mother honked at a vehicle blocking the road.

Police are still searching for suspects.

She honked her horn to pass a vehicle.

A Cleveland, Ohio, boy underwent emergency surgery after someone opened fire on his mother during an extreme road rage incident on Sunday night.

The boy's mother, who has not been named, was driving with her son and seven-year-old daughter in the auto when she came across a vehicle blocking an intersection in Cleveland, Ohio. Her son was rushed to the hospital, but he was reported as conscious and breathing when EMS arrived at the scene.

Two people in that vehicle followed the woman and fired several shots at the woman's auto hitting the four year old boy in the head. Police investigated a little further, though, and interrogated witnesses who said they saw Hill and the Pontiac earlier in the evening in front of a certain address on Division Avenue. That's when two people inside the auto chased her down on the interstate, shooting at her vehicle. He remains hospitalized in serious condition. She pulled off on the East 55th exit and the boy was taken to the hospital. Police said the boy was struck in the head.
