Smaller Google Pixel to retain thick bezels this year

It is possible that by not adopting a more 2017-generation design, the budget Pixel 2 phone also gets incorporated with decent quality speakers that sound above average. While it's likely that this year's Pixel phones will boast unbelievable camera quality like last year's Pixel phones, it's still disappointing to see that Google will (probably) be the only major smartphone manufacturer to not have a flagship with a dual-lens camera in 2017. But what about the HTC-made Pixel 2, the smaller of the new Pixel line-up? We have seen Google doing wonders with the 2016 Pixel cameras and it seems that Google will be breaking the walls again to create new Imaging Standards with the Pixel 2.

In the adjusted image below, you can more clearly see the edges of the display, showing just how large those top and bottom bezels are on the smaller Pixel.

We have heard a number of rumors about the new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphones. The renderings for the Pixel 2 are expected to be accurate as well. Last year's Samsung Galaxy S7 and this year's Galaxy S8 have IP68 dust and water resistance, a feature that prevents any damage in case the phone takes a dive of up to 30 minutes in water that is about 1.5 meters deep.

'Jab Harry Met Sejal' is a darkly amusing romance
This time around, Aamir Khan extended his best wishes for Shah Rukh Khan for his forthcoming film that releases tomorrow. Both Shah Rukh and Imtiaz need the film to work at the box office as they have not tasted success for some time now.

With many OEMs moving towards this direction, it won't be long before you start finding it hard when it comes to bumping into decent headphones that are compatible with 3.5mm audio jacks.

It remains unclear whether, like Apple, Google will offer wireless headphones alongside the Pixel 2, or whether users will be forced to carry around another ruddy dongle. If you can recall, the Google Nexus family was among the first handsets to do away with the traditional microUSB port in favor of USB-C connectivity. The handsets will come with the next major release of Google's mobile OS, Android 8.0 O. Let us know in your comments below.

The bad news is that while there are a couple new features included with this Pixel 2, there's one notable missing feature, too.
