Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), concerned government authority behind Aadhar card services has launched mAadhaar app for Android. "This is a convenient way to carry Aadhaar number with demographic details anytime, anywhere", mentions the app description.

This app is easily available on Google Play store. However, iOS users will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on this app. This app allows Android smartphone users to carry their information on their smartphone.

The aim of developing this app was to ensure you don't have to carry a physical copy of the card, considering the unique identity card is slowly becoming an important document when it comes to banking, tax, etc. After which you will be able to download your Aadhaar number profile.

Update of profile - An updated view of Aadhaar profile data after successful completion of update request.

Further, Quick Response (QR) code facility which enables direct internet links and information communication along with password protected e-KYC data are some other features of the app.
