Google Home welcomes up to six users in the UK

The feature, which allows up to six people to link their Google account to the smart speaker, was first rolled out in the United States a few months ago. For example, stop a seven-year-old girl's endless requests to listen to Ed Sheeran.

If this is a feature you've been waiting for, let us guide you through how to set it up quickly and easily so you don't have to wait much longer.

To allow more people to connect their accounts to a single device, you'll all need the Google Home app on your phone and will need to ensure multiple users are enabled.

From today, you'll see a card that says "multi-user is available" when you open the app, which you can then tap.

Paris Saint-Germain set to bid £60m for Manchester City striker Agüero
So too would chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak, who declared in May there had " never been a doubt " Aguero could leave Manchester. Over the last few months, the Chile global has been linked to Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

If you don't see a card, click on the icon in the top right to see all of your connected devices. Here you should find the notification that also says multi-user is now available. It's also worth noting that Google Home's iOS and Android app was developed by the tech giant's Kitchener-Waterloo engineering office and that the device's French language features were created by language experts in Montreal. Once you've got that you can link your Google account to Home and train it to understand it's you. These two phrases are then analyzed by a neural network that's capable of detecting certain characteristics of a person's voice.

If you have the entire family lined up like a scene from the Sound of Music and you're all ready to chime in and introduce yourselves to Google Assistant you can all connect one after the other. It means Google Home can recognise multiple voices and the personal playlists, commute times and schedules associated with them.

The addition of multiple users is certainly a massive advantage over Amazon Alexa which is yet to implement a similar feature but has begun rollout of the first stage of becoming a communication device.

Say "Ok Google" and command the Google Assistant to do many things like search for a term definition, check movie schedules, ask who is this or that person, add items to your reminders, check the calendar, play your favorite songs, manage tasks, set alarms, or set schedules as needed.
